Pulped natural is a ‘hybrid’ process that originated in brazil. the coffee fruit is partially removed & the remaining fruit is dried mechanically or in the sun. This is very similar to the honey processes of central America, however, brazilian coffees generally have a more muted acidity as a result of climate, elevation, & a robustly mechanized infrastructure. this difference is also true of brazilian full naturals. we taste: A gentle coffee w/ subtle layers of butterscotch & plum.
